  4. • There are two files in this folder:
  5.       1) About FreeBytes,
  6.       2) FreeBytes.

  8. • FreeBytes  is a tiny program which indicates 'free bytes' of the current volume. The current volume is a disk on which FreeBytes  is running. 
  9. On left side of a window, the oval indicator shows you the occupation rate of the disk. See the application's 'About FreeBytes...' dialog from Apple menu. 
  10.  If you use a small screen, such as PowerBook, you can save screen space by eliminating disk information on the window's header from Control Panel. Though FreeBytes  doesn't count the number of items in a Folder...

  12. • FreeBytes  is a freeware. Use it freely.
  13. The current release is created as 68k code, because I have a little trouble while creating PPC version of FreeBytes.  But it runs on both Macintoshes: 68k and PPC.
